Eastern Oregon Head Start

Eastern Oregon University Head Start is a free preschool in La Grande Oregon and the surrounding Eastern Oregon Region for income-eligible children aged 3 & 4 and children with disabilities.

Umatilla Morrow Head Start partners with families to support their child's early learning journey. Through classroom and home visiting options, UMHS provides quality learning opportunities for income-elgible children birth to 5. In addition to school readiness, UMHS provides family support/services, health, nutrition, mental health, inclusion supports, parent education and leadership oppurtunities and more!

At OCDC, we believe that every child should be cared for, educated and loved. We prepare young children for success in school, which prepares them for success in life. We also support parents to help families learn and grow together, and we help families engage with their community.
